DJ MasterJammer was a former member of High Wycombe's No 1 soul sound system, Master Jammers, formed back in 1981 - now carried on by him since 1994.

The then 5 piece MJs played at various soul events including alldayers, weekenders and local events up and down South East England, playing alongside some of the then new acts like Light of the World, Level 42, Maxi Priest and DJs such as David Rodigan, Paul Trouble Anderson and Tim Westwood. 

DJ MasterJammer's influences came from the club scene by listening to the likes of Robbie Vincent, George Power, Froggy and Chris Hill. Throughout this time DJMJ explored the Soul Scene in a big way by arranging trips to various soul events such as Caister Soul Weekender, Prestatyn Soul Weekender, Lycyem Alldayers and Slough Allnighters amongst others. 

In the early nineties DJ MasterJammer was playing in various clubs such at The Attic, Cotton Club and Club X in the High Wycombe area and more recently @Magoo's in Henley-on-Thames. he joined TWR in 2013 with his Sunday night show The Kool Vibes Show and more recently hosted The SoulShine Show Sundays 10pm till midnight
